January R.E.P.O.R.T

Welcome to My January R.E.P.O.R.T
January has come and gone, and it’s time to look back at how I started the year. I’m jumping into the current social media trend with my R.E.P.O.R.T breakdown, reflecting on the month across six categories:
- R for Reading – The books that kicked off my year.
- E for Eating – The meals and snacks that kept me going through the month.
- P for Playing – The songs, games, hobbies, or activities that brought me joy.
- O for Obsessing Over – The things that took over my mind.
- R for Recommending – My top suggestions for things that made January awesome.
- T for Treating – The little (or big) ways I’ve been pampering myself.
Join me as I reflect on a fresh start to 2025—let’s see what January had in store!
Reading: I love a good book, but I’ll admit, I have to make a conscious effort to carve out time for it—otherwise, life just gets in the way and I easily forget. The book I’ve been reading in January is Throne of Glass. I’m halfway through, and having never read fantasy before, I’m absolutely loving it!
Eating: Mac & Cheese! I’ve had Mac & Cheese 3 times in January, which I can’t say is the healthiest but it’s all been in moderation, kinda.
Playing: Easy Does It by Emily Ann Roberts… I’ll let the song speak for itself—go listen!
Obsessing Over: I thought I’d use this spot each month for the nail/beauty trends I’m currently obsessed with. In January, I was really into simple manicures with milky/nude bases. After the craziness of Christmas (which is always full of bold, nail art-heavy looks), it’s been so nice to dial it back and keep things clean and simple.
Recommending: SpaceGoods. I’ve swapped my morning coffee for their mushroom coffee powder since the New Year, and the results have been amazing. I haven’t completely kicked my coffee habit just yet, but I’ve noticed I have so much more energy and clarity when tackling daily tasks and work.
Treating: Rest! I know it sounds a bit silly, right? You might be thinking, “How is that a treat?” But I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s constantly on the go, stopping only for quick coffees here and there. My word for 2025 is BALANCE, and to kick it off right, I’ve made a big effort to add in lunch breaks, eat real food, finish work at a reasonable hour, and just take time for myself. Do you need to treat yourself to some rest? Give it a try.
